POLICIES AND
PROCEDURES
ECI
is a membership
organization. Enrolment for Training Toward Certification
Procedure. Specific information and enrollment materials can be
obtain by call or email your request to the office. Potential trainee
or client may call the office to schedule an assessment or locate time
and schedule of upcoming workshops in their respective community. All
official enrollments require the following:
1.
* A
complete trainee or counseling assessment portfolio application
2.
A
validation of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
3.
Official transcripts of all prior training
4.
Non-refundable basic application fee of $45.00
5.
Initial Assessment fee of $45.00 and the minimum of three
sessions to read $35.00 each
6.
* If
found acceptable applicant may received their Assessment Portfolio
Application Package after paying their initial assessment fee of
$75.00

An
applicant may request the Assessment portfolio Application Package if
they choose not to participate in the initial interview. However, they
will still have to pay the fee which is non-refundable. The package will
be mail one the fees are paid without any further cost.

Once
the applicant has received and complete their Portfolio Package they
will need to return the completed package with the necessary fees and
documents that are called for in the package. An appointment will
follow in person or by telecommunication to complete the process of
assessment.
Upon completion of all items, a trainee file will be processed and
complete instructions and recommendations will be mail within 10 to 14
days of our final decision of the assessment committee.
* NOTE: ECI is a membership organization. Our Portfolio and
Assessment Package is for members in good standing with a desire of
receiving Certification as a Faith-Centered Alcohol and other Drug
Counselor. The Assessment Package contains all the necessary
information to complete the process. To obtain your package you must
submit your request with a fee of $75.00 money order payable to the
Ecumenical Counseling Institute.
TRAINING AND FINANCIAL POLICIES: Current tuition, assessment and
counseling fees are listed within our course program forms and
applications. These fees are subject to change without notice.
Enrollments of trainees and clients are subject to the financial and
training/counseling policies in effect on the date of their official
enrollment or initial contact with ECI office.
All fees for assessment, examinations, counseling, training, books, and
supplies must be paid in United States currency, checks, cash and or
money orders.
REFUND POLICY:
There is no refund on initial assessment or counseling
fees once the applicant signed and agreed to participate in the initial
session. However, if payments are paid in advance and no paper work is
completed the applicant will received their full deposit.
A trainee or a
learner must notify the Institute in writing of their intention to
withdraw. The withdrawal date will be the date of the notification is
received by the Institution. And this date will be used in calculating
the amount of tuition refunded. All application fees and assessment
feed and interviews fees are non-refundable.
RETURNED CHECKS:
A processing fee of $45.00 will be added to a trainee or learners
account and any check return unpaid by any bank. The institution will
not accept any post-dated checks. Any trainee or learner who failed to
honor a return check with the added processing fee will not be permitted
to continue in any of their training sessions until all fees are paid
off in cash or money order.
