WHAT IS THE ECUMENICAL COUNSELING INSTITUTE, INC.

The ECI Ecumenical Counseling Institute, Inc. is a not-for-profit Faith-Based assessment, counseling, and teaching institution incorporated in the District of Columbia in 1977. ENI # 80-0419723.  D-U-N-S #411-5576,designed to enhance the credibility of Para- professional and professional counselors with a comprehensive approach to change human life with the therapeutic principles of sustaining  positive growth and development for the client/customer.

ECI’S assessment and training plans encompass a model of understanding the development of human growth and development that includes the nature and the needs of the individual. Emphasis is placed on the individual’s family sociological, economical, physiological and psychological level and emotional principles involve changing old habits, making new choices that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of becoming self–sufficient and productive.
